Curie guard Maurice Commander has been cleared to play by the Illinois High School Association according to Condors coach Mike Oliver.

The IHSA approved Commander’s transfer from Marist to Curie on Friday afternoon.

“We are ecstatic,” Maurice Commander Sr. said. “I called my wife with the news and she almost fell on the floor.”

The Condors play at the Marshall County Shootout in Benton, Ky. on Saturday.
