Morgan Park tips off the season on Sunday in the Navy Pier Ballroom against one of the best teams in the country, Findlay Prep from Nevada.

No. 4 Young takes on No. 8 Fenwick in what should be the best game of the event. The Dolphins went 5-0 this week in Rockford with wins over Rockford Jefferson, Rockford Auburn, No. XX Larkin, Rockford East, and McArthur, FL.

Starters Xavier Castaneda, Javon Freeman and Justin Boyd all return for the defending Class 4A champs. Junior Myles Baker and sophomore Tyler Beard both flashed impressive potential last season and will be key figures.

Fenwick (3-1) was upset by Benet on Saturday but knocked off Westinghouse, Hope Academy and Manley earlier in the week.

Friars sophomore DJ Steward was a sensation last season. He’s back and surrounded by a focused, talented group of seniors: AJ Nixon, Billy Bruce, 6-4 Mike O’Laughlin and Sam Daniels.

Hillcrest (3-1) opened the season with wins over Thornwood, Bloom and Horizon-McKinley before losing to Marian Catholic on Friday.

3 p.m.: Hillcrest vs. Monsignor Scanlan, NY

5 p.m.: Fenwick vs. Young

7 p.m.: Morgan Park vs. Findlay Prep, NV
