Orr’s Tyronn Mosley has enjoyed quite a ride over the past seven months.

The 6-5 senior was a key part of Orr’s state championship team in March. Mosley filled the stat sheet for coach Lou Adams in helping the Spartans to a Class 2A title.

He burst on the recruiting scene this past spring while playing with the Illinois Wolves on the club circuit. Following a May Under Armour event in California, Mosley vaulted into a national top 100 prospect list. He’s currently the No. 106 ranked player in the country, according to Scout.com.

The recruiting interest and offers soon followed as the versatile guard with length and athleticism picked up offers from Duquesne, UIC, Bradley, DePaul and Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

After taking a visit to UW-Milwaukee last weekend, Mosley decided to commit to coach Pat Baldwin and the Panthers. Mosley had taken an official visit to Bradley earlier this fall.

“I really like the campus, the coaches and the relationship the coaching staff has with me and with my family,” says Mosley.

Mosley’s versatility was what drew the attention of college coaches and evaluators as his endless length and ability to play and defend multiple positions was put on display. Mosley played all three perimeter positions and will offer the same type of versatility at the next level.

Now Mosley is set on helping lead Orr to a second straight state championship.

“Our goal is to win another state championship, but we know we have to keep working,” says Mosley. “Plus, we want a city championship this year.”
