Cary-Grove tops McHenry

While Cary-Grove senior Larkin Hanselmann has confidence in his team’s offense, he also was aware of McHenry sophomore Bobby Miller’s pitching reputation.

Hanselmann figured runs would be tough to come by, so the left-hander proceeded to throw one of the best games of his career. Hanselmann struck out 13 batters and allowed two hits as the Trojans defeated McHenry, 3-1, in a Fox Valley Conference Valley Division baseball game Tuesday at Petersen Park.
