Two corner-kick goals lift New Trier to PepsiCo Showdown soccer title

The New Trier girls soccer team is especially dangerous on corner kicks. It showed a year ago during the Trevians’ run to the Class 3A state championship and it’s been evident again in New Trier’s perfect start to this season.

New Trier has the ingredients needed to have success on corners, and it proved that in a 2-0 victory over Plainfield North on Sunday, April 26 to win the PepsiCo Showdown’s Aquafina bracket in Chicago.
