It wasn’t easy at times, but the second-seeded Lake Forest boys basketball team held on to beat No. 18 seed Glenbrook South, 60-50, in a Class 4A Mundelein Regional semifinal Tuesday night.

The Scouts (26-2) led by double-digits most of the way after the first quarter, but allowed the Titans (10-18) to score the game’s final 10 points once most of their starters were on the bench.
