Matt Maloney finally has another win to remember over Peoria Manual.

In Maloney’s senior year at Oak Park-River Forest, the Huskies beat Manual in the final of the Pontiac Holiday Tournament.

Twenty-two years later, Oak Park has another signature victory over the Rams, 56-51 on Monday in the first round of this year’s Pontiac Holiday Tournament.

Dallis Flowers hit four free throws in the final minute and finished with 20 points for the Huskies (6-4), who play West Aurora (7-4) in the quarterfinals at 4 p.m. Tuesday. Breshawn Wilkerson added 18 points and Connor Fuller had 14 for Oak Park.
