Quick notebook tonight, need to be up early…

Dwight 84, Clifton Central 66: FOX WATCH rages on. Justin Fox had 28 points and 20 rebounds. The Trojans are 11-4.

Fremd 55, Barrington 39: The Vikings just keep rolling. Kyle Sliwa led the way with 21 points.

Loyola 51, De La Salle 35: Nice win for the Ramblers, they are 10-5 now. Might be time to check them out again.

Batavia 55, Larkin 54: Have heard very little about Batavia so far this season. Larkin was all the rage after impressing at Proviso West. The Upstate Eight River is always fun.

Hinsdale South 81, Downers Grove South 71: Major win for the Hornets. Nick Perry and Zion Griffin each scored 20. They will be a factor at the WW South MLK Tournament.

Geneva 67, St. Charles North 62: Still unbeaten. This is the best win of the season so far for the Vikings. I’ll be checking out the North Stars against St. Charles East tomorrow night.

Bloom 60, Rich South 48: Austin Richie continues to make a solid All-Area case, he had 23 points.

Joliet Central 59, Oswego East 38: Surprised by this score line, Oswego East has had a nice season. The Steelmen get it done at home.

St. Patrick 73, IC Prep 53: Jalen Nelson led the Shamrocks with 23 points.

St. Laurence 58, St. Rita 55: Upset. Brian Lyle stole the ball, scored and took a charge – all in the last minute of the game. He finished with 12 points. Justin Wierzgac led all scorers with 21 points and had 4 rebounds.

Homewood-Flossmoor 49, Lockport 40: The Porters actually led for most of the game, they are one scrappy bunch.
