SHARE Taylor Adway’s big night powers Hillcrest past Rich East

The huge surge Hillcrest hit Rich East with at the beginning of Wednesday night’s game wasn’t enough to completely put away with the Rockets.

So, down the stretch, the Hawks turned to Taylor Adway to deliver the knockout punches in the form of a series of thunderous dunks.

Adway finished with 29 points and 15 rebounds and Hillcrest opened the fourth quarter on a 10-0 run to pull away for a 78-63 win in a Class 3A Rich East Sectional semifinal in Park Forest.
